The Miracle of Spring

I love spring in the mountains. It has a captivating presence that draws me outside to simply listen and feel the warm sunshine I have been waiting winters to enjoy. If you happen to drive by the brow of the mountain looking down into the valley, you can literally see spring creeping up the mountains by the tints of green. It is quite something to behold.

Spring speaks miracles. If we think about it deeply, spring is a miracle. How can it be that from a cold, dead and hopeless world emerges new life fresh and strong with a mission to bring life and hope to the world so lost and icy without it. Such a miracle could only originate from the delicate fingertips of a creative Creator.

And He has created much more than spring. This is the God who takes a cold, dying heart and breathes warm life into it’s soul enabling it to feel and grow in love for it’s Maker. The One who turns weeping into laughter; who exchanges sickness for healing; who raises the dead back to life. Yes, this God is a miracle Creator.

And just one of His testimonies is spring.
